Milton G. Slade
Milton G. Slade graduated from MIT in 1948 with a degree in electrical engineering. He worked as an automated systems engineer and was employed by MIT, RCA, Sanders Associates, and GTE. He was the Vice President of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society from 1992–1993, before becoming President from 1994–1995. In 1999, he became the Editor-in-Chief of the the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, and served in that position until the end of 2006. In 2007, he received the Society’s Career Excellence Award.
