IEEE Sensors Applications Symposium 2008
SAS-2008 provides an established forum for sensor users and developers to meet
and exchange information about novel and emergent applications in smart
sensors, homeland security, biology, system health management, and related
areas. Collaborate and network with scientists, engineers, developers and
customers, in a balance of formal technical presentations, workshops, and
informal interface meetings. Suggested topics for SAS-2008 include:
|| Sensor Applications
- MEMS and Nanosensors
- Wireless and Networked Sensors
- Smart Sensors and Standards (IEEE 1451.X)
- Virtual Sensors
- Homeland security
- Radiation detection and standards
- X-ray detectors and imaging
- Integrated System Health Management (ISHM)
- Multisensor Data Fusion
- Nondestructive Evaluation and Remote Sensing
- Commercial Development
Registration is now closed.
Reduced registration fees for IEEE-GOLD Members: The Instrumentation & Measurement Society is pleased to offer a limited number of reduced registrations for recent graduates to attend SAS-2008. IEEE Gold Members can apply for a reimbursement of $100 on their registration fees - please send e-mail to email@example.com. This is on a first-come, first-served basis; we can accommodate a total of 10 Gold Members.
SAS - 2008 is pleased to announce a new event: the IEEE 1451 PlugFest. PlugFest related details are now available here:
