The goals of this Committee are to:

Develop, promote and support standards in sensor-related communication technology, user applications and industry senor interface needs;

To evaluate and, where appropriate, amend existing sensor standards;

To review sensor interfaces and their application in user, government and industry segments of technology;

To maintain liaison with other societies and organizations working in the same or related areas.
