DescriptionThis annual award is in recognition of an individual whose idea applies measurement concepts of instrumentation technology in a novel way to benefit society. The application must be a working solution to an engineering need or problem.

IEEE Technical Field Award & Membership Elevations
IEEE Fellow
IEEE Fellow is a distinction conferred by the Board of Directors upon select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation.
IEEE Senior Member
Senior Membership is the highest application grade, requiring at least 10 years in an IEEE field and 5 years of significant performance. It requires 3 references, or 2 if nominated by a Senior Member.
IEEE Joseph F. Keithley Award
Presented for outstanding contributions in electrical measurements. It was established in 2001 and was presented for the first time in 2004. It is awarded by the IEEE.
