Anant Kumar Verma

Biography

Anant Kumar Verma (S'16-M'19) obtained his bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering from University Science Instrumentation Center Srinagar, India, in 2012. He obtained his master's degree from the Dehradun Institute of Technology, India 2014. He obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, India, in 2021.

Later, he joined Universidad de O'Higgins, Rancagua, Chile, in 2023 and currently working as a postdoctoral fellow. His research interests include Modular Multilevel Converter Control, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Grid Synchronization, and Cybersecurity for Energy Systems. He has co-authored more than 15 journal papers, of which 8 are in IEEE Transactions.
