Dr. Arka Roy is currently a Postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Neurology, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, at Harvard Medical School, USA. His research interests include biomedical signal processing, AI-assisted continuous health monitoring, embedded system, and advanced deep representational learning. He received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Patna from 2025, where he was appointed as a Prime Minister's Research Fellow by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. He has published more than 20 papers in top IEEE Transactions/Journals including IEEE TIM, IEEE TASLP, IEEE TBIOM, and conferences such as ICASSP, INTERSPEECH, SPCOM, IEEE MeMeA. He has also recieved international travel grant from the IEEE IMS society to present his paper in one of the IMS-flagship conferences IEEE MeMeA, held in Jeju Island, June 2023. Currently, his research focuses on finding efficient EEG biomarkers for adult and paediatric delirium detection and developing foundational EEG model for detecting various neurological disorders.
