Cesare Alippi Email Biography Cesare Alippi received the Dott. Ing. degree in electronic engineering (summa cum laude) and the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering, both from Politecnico di Milano, Milano, Italy, in 1990 and 1995, respectively. He has completed research work in computer sciences at the University College London, London, U.K., and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge. Currently, he is a Full Professor of Information Processing Systems at the Politecnico di Milano. His research interests include Adaptive Algorithms, Intelligent Embedded Systems and Application-level Analysis and Synthesis of Embedded Systems. Research activities are carried out both at academic and industrial level. Alippi is a Fellow of the IEEE for contributions to robustness and application-level synthesis of embedded information processing systems, Associate Editor of the IEEE-Transactions on Neural Networks, Associate Editor IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine, Past-Associate Editor of the IEEE-Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurements and member of the Board of Directors of the European Neural Network Society (ENNS) 2011-2013 term.
