Christina received her M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. She is the program manager for the Technical Testing and Analysis Center (TTAC) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The mission of the TTAC is to capture radiological and environmental vulnerabilities as well as operational limitations in order to provide feedback to assist in eliminating or mitigating vulnerabilities prior to fielding a device. She was instrumental in submitting and maintaining accreditation (NVLAP Lab Code: 200861-0) for TTAC by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) N42 testing standards for Homeland Security and International Electrotechnical Commission’s (IEC) radiation protection standards. She has been part of the TTAC program since 2011 and serves as the electrical subject matter expert for the program. Her background is in instrumentation development with an emphasis on validation and verification testing.
Christina serves as Chair for two IEEE working groups: 1) Aerial Radiation Measurement Systems, and 2) Performance Criteria for Passive Radiation Imaging Systems. She also serves as Vice Chair for two other IEEE working groups: 1) Mobile and Transportable Radiation Monitors, and 2) Performance Criteria for Spectroscopy-Based Portal Monitors Used for Homeland Security.
