Federico Tramarin (S '08, M '12, SM '24) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Engineering of the University of Padova, Italy. Previously, he was an Associate Professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia since 2020. He received the M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering and the PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2008 and 2012, respectively.
His primary research interests lie in the field of networked and IoT measurement systems, particularly the development of measurement techniques for analysing network system performance, with a focus on industrial real-time wired and wireless communications, as well as time-sensitive networking (TSN).
Prof. Tramarin serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Open Journal of Instrumentation and Measurement and the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, and contributes to the Editorial Board of other esteemed international journals. He is a member of the IEEE I&M Society TC37 on Measurements and Networking and of the IES TC on Factory Automation. He has served as General and Program Chair of numerous international IEEE conferences, including I2MTC, M&N, ETFA, MetroAutomotive, and others.
