Giorgio Ferrari received the Laurea and Ph.D. degrees in electronics engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He is currently an associate professor of electronics with the Department of Physics at the Politecnico di Milano. His research focuses on designing high-performance electronic instruments to address measurement challenges in nanoscience, integrated photonics, and innovative biomedical devices. He has published more than 120 papers in international journals, edited a book on capacitance spectroscopy of semiconductors, and co-invented nine patents.
