Irida Shallari (Member IEEE) received her M.Sc. in Embedded Computing Systems from the University of Southampton, UK, and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway, in 2016. She earned her Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Mid Sweden University in 2021, where she is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering.
In 2023 and 2024, she was a visiting researcher at Ontario Tech University (Canada) and the University of Salerno (Italy) investigating on anomaly detection and AI-enabled measurement systems. Her research targets the development and optimization of AI-based IoT nodes and DNN-driven measurement systems, emphasizing resource-constrained computation, uncertainty-aware inference, and robust fault and anomaly detection.
