Jiahui Cao (Student Member, IEEE) was born in Zhejiang, China in 1998. He received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou, China, in 2020. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China. His current research interests include mechanical signal processing, blade tip timing (BTT) measurement, vibration signal analysis, and compressed sensing. He developed many new BTT signal processing methods including adaptive filtering, spectral analysis, and parameter identification. In addition, he developed a series of efficient signal processing methods for undersampled waveforms based on the law of periodic extension and proposed an elegant sampling theorem for multi-sinusoid signals, which is different from the classical Nyquist-Shannon sampling theorem and is applicable to non-uniform sampling. Based on the above research, he has published more than 15 papers as the first author and corresponding author on IEEE TIM/TIE, MSSP, JSV, IJMS, etc. He has also been a reviewer many times for IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, IEEE Open Journal of Instrumentation & Measurement.
