Jing Yuan (M'12) received his B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in control theory and control engineering from Nankai University, China, in 2002 and 2007, respectively. He joined Department of Automation, Nankai University in 2007 as a Lecturer and became an Associate Professor in 2009. He was a visiting scholar with the Department of Computer Science, University of Georgia from 2015 to 2016. He is currently a Full Professor with the College of Artificial Intelligence, Nankai University. His research interests include robotic control, environmental perception and autonomous navigation of mobile robots, SLAM, target recognition and tracking, sensor fusion, robot vision, etc. He has published more than 100 journal and conference papers.
