Katelyn (Katie) Brinker is currently a Principal Nondestructive Evaluation Engineer at Pratt & Whitney, where she works to develop new inspections and inspection technology for jet engine components. She earned her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University, focusing on the development and measurement of wireless passive microwave sensors for nondestructive evaluation applications. Her research interests include microwave and millimeter-wave methods, nondestructive testing, eddy current inspection, and wireless sensors.
