Lei Yao (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan, in 2022.

He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment at Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, U.K. His research interests include battery management systems, dynamics and control, positioning and navigation, computer vision, machine learning, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
