Lisa-Marie Faller

Lisa-Marie Faller received the B.Sc. in Systems Engineering and M.Sc. in Systems Design from the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) Villach Austria in 2011 and 2014 respectively. In 2014 she joined the sensors and actuators group at the University of Klagenfurt with focus on robust design and statistical signal processing. She did her Ph.D. on an inkjet- and 3D-printed capacitive sensing system for a MEMS micro-mirror as part of an infrared-spectrometer. Currently, she is Professor of Robotics at the Faculty of Engineering & IT, Carinthia University of Applied Sciences: FH Kärnten and lead of the ADMiRE research group on Additive Manufacturing, intelligent Robotics, Sensors and Engineering. There she is working in emerging materials and technologies for additive manufacturing, novel sensors and gripper systems for robotic applications with a special focus on rapid-prototyping technologies and materials for printing.
