Michał Kozioł (M’18) received the B.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control and Informatics, Opole University of Technology, Opole, Poland, in 2006, the M.Sc. degree in computer science (major in informatics in electric power engineering) from the same university in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 2017.
He is currently an Assistant Professor and the Deputy Head of the Department of Electric Power Engineering and Renewable Energy, Opole University of Technology. His research interests include measurement methods for high-voltage diagnostics, optical signal metrology, optical emission spectroscopy and UHF sensing for partial discharge and breakdown phenomena in insulating liquids under AC/DC stress, signal/spectral processing and data-driven feature extraction, as well as measurement-driven assessment of renewable energy and energy storage systems.
