Paolo Durandetto was born in 1986. He received the M.Sc. degree in Physics of Fundamental Interactions from the Università degli Studi di Torino, Turin, Italy, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in Metrology from the Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy, in 2019, in association with the Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica, Turin, Italy. In 2014, he joined the Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica, within the quantum electricity group. His current research primarily focuses on the development and application of quantum voltage standards based on the Josephson effect for both dc and ac electrical metrology. As Head of the Quantum Voltage Laboratory, he is also responsible for the Italian primary dc voltage standard based on the Josephson effect. In addition, he is engaged in the development, application, and uncertainty assessment of high-accuracy measurement systems for electrical quantities.
