Dr. Rishi Raj Sharma received his Ph.D. degree in Signal Processing & Machine Intelligence from Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, India, and M.Tech. from ABV-Indian Institute of Technology Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, India.
Since 2019, he is with the Department of Electronics Engineering, Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), DRDO, Pune, India as an Assistant professor. Before joining DIAT, he served as Assistant Professor at Military College of Telecommunication Engineering, (Indian Army), Mhow, India and Research Scientist at National Brain Research Centre, Gurugram, India.
He received “IET Premium Award”-2019 and “IET Primum Award”-2020 from Institution of Engineering and Technology, UK. Moreover, he received “IETE SK Mitra Memorial Award”-2025 and “Best Male Student Paper Award” in 2nd International Conference on PCEMS-2023.
His area of research cover Signal Processing & Machine Intelligence for Medical Robotics, Brain Computer Interfacing, Human Machine Interaction, Electronic Warfare, Anti-drone Technology, and Automotive Radar.
