Roman Kusche receivedthe B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Lübeck University of Applied Sciences, Lübeck, Germany, in 2013, the M.Sc. degree from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg, Germany, in 2014, and the Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Lübeck, Lübeck, Germany, in 2020.
From 2014 to 2019, he was a Research Group Leader with the Laboratory of Medical Electronics, Lübeck University of Applied Sciences. He subsequently worked as a Senior Researcher with the Center of Excellence CoSA, Lübeck. From 2020 to 2023, he was Head of the Department for Individualized Therapy at the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Individualized and Cell-Based Medical Engineering IMTE, Lübeck.
Since 2023, he has been a Professor of Digital and Analog Electronics at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. His research interests include the development of novel biomedical measurement methods and related medical sensor systems.
