Shiraz Sohail Email Biography Dr. Shiraz Sohail (GSM’15, M’17, SM’21) received the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata in 2006, and the Master of Technology (M.Tech.) and Ph.D. degrees in Instrumentation from the EE dept. of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, WB in 2010 and 2016, respectively. He served the EE dept. of the Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI, A Central University), New Delhi from August 2017 to May 2020 as an Assistant Professor. Since June 2020, He is working with the Instrumentation and Control Engineering dept. of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli, TN as an Assistant Professor. He has published several research articles, conference proceedings, and patents in the areas of Instrumentation and Measurement (I&M). His broad area of research is mainly focused on the Instrumentation and Measurement which includes MEMS devices, sensors, electronic instrumentation, and PCB circuit design, etc. Dr. Shiraz Sohail is an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, and a Senior Member of IEEE.
