Tuan Guo Email Biography Tuan Guo received the Ph.D. in Optics from Nankai University (Tianjin, China) in 2007. He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Department of Electronics, Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada) and the Photonics Research Centre, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2008 to 2010. In December 2010, he joined Jinan University (Guangzhou, China) as an Associate Professor and promoted to a Professor in 2014. His research interests include optical fiber sensors, plasmonics, biophotonics, and photonics for renewable energy. He has authored over 150 papers in the peer-reviewed academic journals, 6 tutorial/invited reviews, 2 books, and given over 30 invited talks at international conferences. He holds 18 patents in China and USA. Dr. Guo was a Senior Member of IEEE and a Senior Member of the Optical Society of America. He served as an Associate Editor for IEEE/OSA Journal of Lightwave Technology, SCIENCE CHINA Information Sciences.
