Zhiqiang Huo received the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lincoln, Lincoln, UK, in 2020. He subsequently joined the Institute of Health Informatics at University College London (UCL) as a Research Associate from 2020 to 2022, and then the Department of Population Health Sciences at King’s College London (KCL) as a Research Associate from 2022 to 2025.
He is currently a Lecturer at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), London, UK. His research interests include health monitoring, digital health, medical big data analysis, machine learning, signal processing and their applications in clinical settings. He has received two Best Paper Awards at international conferences, including INISCOM 2017 and IEEE ICHI 2024, and was awarded the “Outstanding Reviewer” recognition by IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement in 2024.
