Dong Wang

Biography

Dong Wang received his Ph.D. degree at the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, in 2015. He was a Senior Research Assistant, Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Fellow at the City University of Hong Kong from 2015 to 2018.

Dr. Wang is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, China, where he is also connected with the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical System and Vibration and with the Chinese Institute of Quality Research. He serves as the Director of the Center for Intelligent Operation and Maintenance at Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Dr. Wang’s research interests include instrumentation and measurement, sparse and complex measures, signal processing, prognostics and health management, condition monitoring and fault diagnosis, statistical learning and machine learning, statistical process control and nondestructive testing. He has been awarded State Specially Recruited Experts (Youth Talents), IEEE and Elsevier Outstanding Reviewer Status and IEEE Outstanding Associate Editor, and Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement and an Editor of Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing.
