25th Anniversary of IEEE Women in Engineering Competition

Dear IMS members,

In 2022, we will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE). As part of the celebration, we will have a competition for innovative ideas to address specific WIE-related issues. Proposals are sought on the following areas: 

• Smart childcare and education
• Elderly communication and senior safe living
• W-medicine, mental health aid, and security for women
• Sustainable environment solutions in rural and urban areas 

The deadline for the submission is the 25th of December 2021. 

Ideas will be presented during an “Around the World 25th Anniversary-day” Virtual event. Winners will be invited to present their ideas in a dedicated session at the 2022 International Leadership Conference in San Diego in June 2022.

Please distribute this announcement to those who might be interested. IEEE-WIE members and non-members are welcome to apply. Students and Young Researchers are particularly encouraged to submit their ideas.
