Welcome to the June edition of our Newsletter.

May is a very active month for our Society since we traditionally have two very relevant events: our flagship conference I2MTC and the Spring AdCom Meeting. This year, I2MTC took place in the Convention Center of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, under the magnificent spectacle of the Petronas Twin Towers. During four intense days, the participants were able to attend some tutorials, present their work in technical oral or poster sessions, and participate in the ceremonies listed in the conference program. This event was the result of intense work led by the Organizing Committee and the I2MTC Board of Directors, which started a few years ago. We cordially extend full recognition to all our colleagues involved in the organization of such an excellent activity as well as to all the participants. Thank you very much for making that happen!

The second important activity that took place right after the conference was the IMS Spring AdCom Meeting. During three days, the AdCom members talked about our ongoing programs, several actions, and above all, future plans oriented to support our membership to the full extent of our possibilities as IEEE Society. As a result, an updated IMS Society Strategic Plan will be available soon on our webpage. The Call for Papers for the upcoming I2MTC 2024 which will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, has been released and can be consulted on the webpage. We cordially invite you to prepare and submit your papers to this event which will also be a great success without a doubt.
