Loredana Cristaldi

Biography

Loredana Cristaldi was born in Catania, Italy, in 1965. She received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Catania, Catania, Italy, in 1992, and her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 1995. In 1999, she joined the Dipartimento di Elettrotecnica, Politecnico di Milano, as an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Electronic Measurements. In 2005, she was Associate Professor of Electrical and Electronic Measurements at Politecnico di Milano (DEIB Department, Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria). She has received the habilitation required to apply to a Full professor position on March 28, 2027 and now she is full professor of Electrical and Electronic Measurements at Politecnico di Milano (DEIB Department). Her research interests are now in the field of virtual instruments and measurement methods for reliability, monitoring and fault diagnosis. 

Prof. Cristaldi is a member of the PhD council in "Ingegneria Elettrica/Electric Engineering" of Politecnico di Milano.
