IMS Young Professionals The IEEE I&M Society Young Professionals program is committed to helping young professions evaluate their career goals, enhance early career skills and boost professional network. YP Activities IMS organizes regular activities, such as YP receptions, panel discussions, and industrial visits aimed towards Young Professionals at I&M Society conferences, particularly at the Society's flagship conference, the IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Conference (I2MTC). What distinguishes this award from other I&M achievement-based awards is that by its title, this award’s focus is on a person, not an achievement, and the Society implicitly recognizes the person who was responsible for the success of the cited achievement(s) during his/her early career.
