Damodar Reddy Edla

Biography

Damodar Reddy Edla received an M. Sc degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Hyderabad in 2006, and M.Tech. and Ph. D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian School of Mines Dhanbad in 2009 and 2013 respectively. His research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Cognitive Neuroscience, Brain Computer Interface, and Medical Imaging. He has published more than 180 research articles in reputed International journals and standard conferences. Dr. Reddy filed 6 patents in Brain Computer Interface and Sensors. He is a senior member of IEEE, ACM, and IACSIT and also received several awards such as INSA Visiting Scienctist-2022, Chartered Engineer - The Institution of Engineers (India), Young Faculty Award, DKIF Best Researcher award, Asia-Arab Distinguished Faculty Award, CSIR Senior Research Fellowship, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Life Time Achievement National Award, etc. He has also published 4 books by reputed publishers such as CRC Press, Taylor and Francis, etc. Dr. Reddy delivered guest lectures and keynote talks at more than 200 Engineering Institutes. Six of his Ph. D scholars completed Ph. D and another 15 Ph. Ds are ongoing.

Damodar Reddy Edla is presently working as an Associate Professor and Dean (Students Welfare) at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Goa, India.
