Guglielmo Frigo (M’18) was born in Padua, Italy, in 1986. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in biomedical engineering from the University of Padova, Padua, in 2008 and 2011, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the School of Information Engineering, University of Padova, in 2015, with a dissertation about compressive sensing (CS) theory applications to instrumentation and measurement scenario.
He joined the Electronic Measurement Research Group, Department of Information Engineering, Padova, in 2011, and collaborated in the successful development of CS-based algorithms in the fields of spectral analysis, biomedical engineering, and smart-grid measurement.
Since 2018, he has been with the Distributed Electrical Laboratory, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland. He has co-authored several conference and journal papers on these topics. His current research interests include the development of enhanced measurement devices for active distribution networks.
