Huan Liu received the Ph.D. degree with Geodetection and Information Technology, School of Geophysics and Geomatics, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China, in 2018. From 2016 to 2017, he was a joint training Ph.D. student with Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, School of Engineering, University of British Columbia, Kelowna, Canada. He is currently a Professor with the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China.
His current research interests include magnetic sensors and machine learning-based data analytics for magnetic measurement and instrumentation. He is selected into the Young Top-Notch Talent of Hubei Province, China, the Yellow Crane Person with Outstanding Ability of Wuhan, China, and the Top Youth Talent of China University of Geosciences. He is also a committee member of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society's Technical Committee on "Environmental Measurements" (TC-18). Dr. Liu serves on the editorial boards for journals including IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation & Measurement and IEEE Sensors Journal.
