Lihui Peng

Biography

Lihui Peng (IEEE M’11-SM’15) received the B.Eng., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in measurement science and applied electronics from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1990, 1995, and 1998, respectively. He started his academic career as an Assistant Lecturer at Tsinghua University in 1990 and then as an Associate Professor with the Tsinghua University from 2001 to 2010. He is currently a Professor and was ever the Director of the Institute of Measurement Technology and Electronics with the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University. He has published more than 100 research papers and held 10 patents. His current research interests include measurement techniques for multiphase flow, process tomography, multi-sensor data fusion, smarting sensing and measuring, machine learning based data analytics for measurement and instrumentation, and flow measurement and instrumentation. He has been a member of several Chinese national technical committees since 2001. He was awarded and shared the 2nd class Achievement in Natural Science issued by the National Education Ministry of China in 2009.
