Lin Xu (M’16) received his Ph.D. degree from the Eindhoven University of Technology (Eindhoven, the Netherlands) in 2016, and his MSc degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology (Chengdu China) in 2010. From Jan. 2016 to Aug. 2019, he was a post-doc researcher in the Eindhoven University of Technology and a guest scientist in Philips Research (Eindhoven, the Netherlands). Since Sep. 2019, Dr. Xu has been a tenure-track assistant professor with the School of Information Science and Technology in ShanghaiTech University (Shanghai, China).
His research interests include biomedical signal acquisition and processing, medical instrumentation, and machine learning in general, with specific applications in neuromuscular rehabilitation, ambulatory monitoring, brain computer interface, etc.
