Maria Gabriella Xibilia Email Biography Prof. Maria Gabriella Xibilia, Ph.D. is currently Associate professor of Automatic Control at the Department of Engineering, University of Messina, Italy. She received the M.S. degree in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. in electric engineering from the University of Catania in 1991 and 1995, respectively. She received a National Research Council grant on the Robotic Project "Applications of the quaternionic algebra to robotics" and a post Ph.D. grant from the University of Catania. She is author of more than 130 research papers in scientific journals and international conference proceedings, 4 monographs and many book chapters. Her research interests are in Soft Sensors, Intelligent systems, System identification, Fault diagnosis and detection, Machine learning and Deep learning.
