Pedro Oliveira

Biography

Pedro Oliveira Conceição Junior received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Bauru, Brazil, in 2020, with a period at the Fraunhofer Joint Laboratory of Excellence on Advanced Production Technology of the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of São Paulo, São Carlos School of Engineering, EESC/USP, São Carlos, Brazil, where he coordinates the Laboratory of Data Analysis and Automation. His current research focuses on industrial automation, data acquisition, condition-based maintenance, fault diagnosis, sensor systems, digital signal processing, acoustic instrumentation, and pattern recognition. He is also an IEEE Senior Member and Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement Journal.
