Biography

Dr Wang (SM’15) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Engineering at Durham University. She has over twenty years’ experience in research, industrial and project management. Her areas of expertise include structural health monitoring, life cycle engineering, electromagnetic measurement and signal processing. She has published two co-authored books and more than 140 scientific papers in refereed journals and international conferences. She is also co-inventor of one US patent.

She is a reviewer for more than 40 journals, including IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, Measurement (Elsevier) and has been recognized as an Outstanding Reviewer.

She was the Program Chair for the ASME DFMLC Conference in 2016 and the Conference Chair for the ASME DFMLC Conference in 2017. She is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a senior member of IEEE(SMIEEE), a member of IMechE(MIMechE), a member of ASME(MASME) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
