Biography

Sabrina Grassini received her M.S. degree in Chemistry from University of Torino in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2004. She is Full Professor of Applied Physical Chemistry with the Department of Applied Science and Technology at Politecnico di Torino. Her research activities, which led to the publication of more than 220 papers in national and international journals and in the proceedings of international conferences, are devoted to fundamentals of plasma processes, cultural heritage, corrosion and protection of metals, sensors and medical measurements. She is senior member of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society, member of the Steering Committee of the IEEE International Symposium on Medical Measurement and Applications (MeMeA), Secretary of TC-25 on Medical and Biomedical Measurements and Chair of TC-17 on Materials in Measurements. She is Associate Editor of the IEEE Transaction of Instrumentation and Measurement. She served as General Chair of the International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference in 2017 (I2MTC2017), and of the MeMeA Symposia in 2005, 2020 and 2022.
