Biography

Seyed Hossein Hesamedin Sadeghi (M’92-SM’05) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1980, the M.S. degree in power engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Manchester, U.K., in 1984, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic systems engineering from the University of Essex, Colchester, U.K., in 1991. In 1992, he was appointed as a Research Assistant Professor with Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. During 1996-1997 and 2005-2006, he was a Visiting Professor with the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He is currently a Professor of electrical engineering with Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. He is the holder of four patents and is the author or coauthor of one book, one book chapter and more than 300 scientific papers published in reviewed journals and international conference proceedings. His current research interests include electromagnetic nondestructive evaluation of materials and electromagnetic compatibility.
