Dr. Yandan Jiang received the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in September 2019. From October 2017 to October 2018, she worked as a Visiting Ph.D. Student in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Bath, Bath, UK. She was an Associate Research Fellow in the College of Control Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, China from March 2020 to June 2023, where she was subsequently promoted to Research Fellow from July 2023 to September 2025. Currently, she is an Associate Professor at the Hangzhou International Innovation Institute, Beihang University, Hangzhou, China.
Dr. Jiang has led 7 research projects supported by various funding bodies, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province. She has published over 40 papers in top journals such as IEEE TIE, IEEE TMI, IEEE TIM, and Measurement, along with more than 30 conference papers. She is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Senior Member of the China Instrument and Control Society. She has been an Associate Editor of IEEE TIM since 2023, and was recognized as one of the IEEE TIM's Outstanding Associate Editors for 2024. She also serves as a committee member of the Youth Committee of the China Instrument and Control Society (CIS). She has been actively involved in academic conferences, chairing sessions and delivering invited speeches. Her research interests include measurement and instrumentation, multiphase flow detection techniques, process tomography and biomedical imaging.
