Yixin Ma received her master (1996) and Ph.D (1999) degrees in Automatic Instrumentation and Equipment, Department of Electrical and Automation Engineering, Tianjin University, China. She was a research fellow in the Institute of Mechanics, CAS of China (1999-200), Leeds University of UK (2000-2004) and Institute of Cancer Reseach of UK (2004-2007). From 2008, she is an associate professor with the Department of Instrument Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China.
Dr. Ma teaches “Measurement System: Design and Application” to 3rd-year undergraduate students. Her current research interests include electrical impedance measurement technology and applications. She also has strong interests in the research of flow measurement, and high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) technology.
