Dr. Vinayak Pachkawade is an engineer and scientist with a career spanning multiple continents. He is a Senior Member at IEEE and serves as an Education Activity Committee Member for IEEE Sensors Council. Dr. Pachkawade's profound passion for microelectronics and nanotechnology has been the driving force behind his career, dedicated to advancing these fields through research, education, and scientific outreach. He earned his PhD in Engineering and Technology Sciences from the University of Liege, Belgium, between October 2015 and February 2020 under the guidance of Michael Kraft, KU Leuven.

Dr. Pachkawade actively contributes to various international committees in the field. He is also an Invited Member of the EE Advisory and Development Council (EEADC) at CSULB in the United States, starting from April 29, 2022. He was an invited speaker at Chair of Analogue Circuits and Image Sensors, University of Siegen, Germany (2021).

Within the academic community, Dr. Pachkawade plays a vital role as a peer reviewer for esteemed journals and conferences. His critical insights have shaped articles for IEEE, Elsevier, and MDPI journals, in addition to multiple IEEE conferences. His dedication to research excellence has garnered him accolades, including the prestigious Best Paper Award (1st prize) at the IEEE Sensor Conference in 2012. He has also been honored with research grants and scholarships, such as the University of Liege, Belgium Doctoral Research Grant and the National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan International Scholarship.

Currently, Dr. Pachkawade holds the position of Founder and Director at the VPACHKAWADE Research Center in India. In this capacity, he focuses on knowledge transfer and know-how in the fields of microelectronics and nanotechnology. The center is instrumental in offering higher education courses, skill-based training, and industry consulting services.

Dr. Pachkawade boasts a substantial portfolio of peer-reviewed publications, encompassing journal articles, conference papers, book, and book chapters. His research covers diverse topics, including MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems), biosensors, and microelectronics. He has further contributed to the academic community by actively participating in the organization of workshops and programs related to COMSOL modeling and faculty development.
