Biography

Dr. Huan Liu (M’ 18) is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Automation, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China. He received the Ph.D. degree with Geodetection and Information Technology, Institute of Geophysics & Geomatics, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China, in 2018. During Sep. 2016 to Sep. 2017, he was a joint training Ph.D. student with Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, School of Engineering, University of British Columbia, Kelowna, Canada. Dr. Liu is a member of IEEE and SPIE, respectively. He is also a committee member of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society (IMS) technical committee on “Environmental Measurements” (TC-18).

His current research interests include magnetic sensors, multi-sensor data fusion, data-driven diagnostics and prognostics, machine learning based data analytics for measurement and instrumentation, and magnetic measurement and instrumentation.
