Donghoon Kang Email Biography Donghoon Kang received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pohang, Korea, in 1997 and 1999, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 2018. Since 2000, he has been with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Seoul, where he is currently a Senior Researcher. He is also an Associate Professor with the University of Science and Technology (UST), KIST School, Seoul, Korea. He was awarded a gold medal for the outstanding performance as one of the most productive reviewers in the past 7 years (2014-2020) by IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement. He was also recognized as one of outstanding reviewers by IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement (2017-2020). His research interests include computer vision and machine intelligence.
