Yang Song

Biography

Yang Song, IEEE Senior Member, Professor at SWJTU-LEEDS Joint School & School of Electrical Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University. He worked as a Research Fellow, Postdoctoral Fellow, and Researcher at Universiy of Huddersfield (UK), Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and Oslo Metropolitan University. In May 2023, He was introduced to Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU-Leeds Joint School && School of Electrical Engineering) as a Professor. He has published over 40 academic papers as the first or corresponding author in prestigious journals such as IEEE/ASME Trans., Mech. Syst. Signal Process., J. Sound Vib. He has been included in the World 2% Top Scientist (2023 single year). He serves as an Associate Editor for the prestigious SCI journal IEEE Trans. Instrum. Meas. (IF: 5.332, JCR Q1), and an Associate Editor for the prestigious SCI journal IEEE Trans. Veh. Technol. (IF: 6.8, JCR Q1).
