Federico Tramarin IEEE Region: Region 08 (Africa, Europe, Middle East) Email Biography Federico Tramarin is an Associate Professor at the Department of Engineering "Enzo Ferrari" of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. Previously, he was Assistant Professor at the Department of Management and Engineering of the University of Padova, Italy. He received the Dr.Eng. degree in Electronic Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering, both from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. His research interests are in the area of network performance analysis and measurement, with a special focus on real-time industrial wired and wireless communications, time-sensitive networking, and cyber-physical systems. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics and the IEEE Open Journal of Instrumentation and Measurement. He also serves on the editorial boards of several prestigious international journals. He has contributed to the organization and also serves on the TPC of several international IEEE conferences, including I2MTC, MetroAutomotive, M&N, ETFA, INDIN, IECON, etc. He is an active member of the IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Society (TC-37 on Measurement & Networking) and the Industrial Electronics Society (TCs on Factory Automation).
